Hugin — automation

Automate testing with workflows, campaigns, scheduled scans, and AI orchestration.

Load the tools

Call tools/list with _meta.bundle = "automation". You get: workflows, campaigns, scheduler, pipeline, orchestrate, orchestration_usage, assistant_chat.

Workflow

  1. Define the workflow — what triggers it (new flow, finding, schedule), what actions to take.
  2. Configure — set up the campaign with the right tools, profiles, and rate limits.
  3. Run — start the campaign. Monitor progress via campaigns status.
  4. Review — findings flow into the standard findings surface. Triage as usual.

Rules

  • Authorised targets only. Stay in scope.
  • Start with a pipeline run for a quick end-to-end sweep — it chains all scanners.
  • Workflows are event-driven — set them up to auto-process new traffic as it's captured.
  • Campaigns are for sustained, multi-step testing — use them for large target sets.
  • orchestrate uses AI to explain flows and suggest payloads — use it for triage acceleration.
  • Monitor orchestration_usage to track token/cost spend.
